Connect: Start Serving

connectI appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God; For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another; Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them:  -Romans 12:1, 4-6

Serving the body of Christ is an act of worship that blesses both those who serve and others to the Glory of God. Learn more about serving opportunities by reading below.

Please view the various teams and ministries below to see what areas you can serve, based on your interests and skills, and the needs of Covenant Life Ministries. For more information or questions regarding serving opportunities, please contact a ministry director and someone from one of our Teams will contact you to get you plugged in and serving at our Church. -THANKS!

  • PRAYER MINISTRY
We are always looking for more people (intercessors) to join the team. Since prayer is such a basic and essential discipline for all Christians, anyone with the Holy Spirit can take part in this ministry and be valuable to people in need of prayer. We are also looking for Prayer Leaders to help serve, as we regularly have attendees coming up front after each service with a wide variety of prayer requests. Some have just accepted Jesus into their lives while others are dealing with simple to complex matters that need to be addressed. We listen to the attendee and then spend time praying with them.

Requirements: To be a Prayer Leader you must be a member of CLM. To be an Intercessor you must either already be a member or currently going through the membership process.

Commitment: Prayer Leaders serve approximately 15-25 minutes before services as well as after to help meet the prayer requests of attendees. Intercessors serve as much as they can, whenever they can, for as long as they can.

The media department is responsible for video, audio, Media Shout, recording, live production, distribution and archiving of audio and video content as well as the procurement and maintenance of video gear and technology. Video/Audio Recording
These volunteers record live preaching through our video and audio equipment. They are responsible for converting recordings to DVD, CD, and webcast. No experience required – should be tech savvy.

This person keeps the service running smoothly and goes through a checklist of tasks to make sure that band, video, audio, lighting, and stage are running properly and on time.
